1.1.0
Compatibility
Changes
Elytra Cam v1.1.0 (The Cinematic Flight Update)
New Features
- Dynamic Camera Roll (Banking): When flying in third-person, the camera will now smoothly bank into your turns based on your rotation speed, making you feel a more kinetic flight.
- Independent Landing Speed: Added a new config option (returnTransitionSpeed) so you can customise the camera transition for landing alongside the already existing initial takeoff zoom.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
-
The "Smooth Landing" Fix: Fixed an issue where landing would violently cut the camera to 1st person. The camera now smoothly transitions back to first-person.
-
Smarter F5 Manual Override: Fixed a bug where pressing F5 permanently locked the mod out until you landed. Now, if you manually hit F5 but cycle back to 3rd person while still in the air, the mod takes back the control to handle your landing.
Configuration
-
Added enableCameraRoll toggle.
-
Added rollMultiplier to tweak how intensely the camera banks.
-
Added maxRollLimit to set the maximum tilt angle (default is 25 degrees).
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
