Emotify 0.9.0-beta.1
This release extends the shared Paper, Purpur, and Folia plugin to Minecraft 26.3 and keeps full protocol alignment with Emotify 0.9.0-beta.1 clients.
Highlights
- Extended the single shared plugin artifact to Minecraft 26.3.
- Kept the Emotify protocol, server configuration, permissions, and
/emotify reloadbehavior unchanged, so existingplugins/Emotify/config.ymlfiles continue to work without edits. - Kept native Folia support with regionized scheduling and thread-safe packet dispatch.
- Added 26.3 to the release verification and development server setup alongside 1.21.1, 1.21.8, 1.21.11, and 26.2.
- No additional server dependencies are required.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21.8, 1.21.11, 26.2, or 26.3
- Paper, Purpur, or Folia
- Java 21 for Minecraft 1.21.1 through 1.21.11
- Java 25 for Minecraft 26.2 and 26.3
Players who want to send and see emotions must install the Emotify client matching their loader and Minecraft version. Other players can join normally.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
