Emotify 0.8.0
This release improves picker stability, emoji depth rendering, and multiplayer compatibility for NeoForge 1.21.1.
Highlights
- Fixed a client crash when opening the Emotion Picker and search box on NeoForge 1.21.1.
- Fixed emoji transparency against water, portals, clouds, sky, and translucent world geometry.
- Fixed fade-in and fade-out animations without allowing emojis to render through solid blocks.
- Removed unwanted text shadow in the emotion search box input and placeholder hints.
- Added full multiplayer compatibility with Fabric clients and Paper, Purpur, and Folia servers.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.234 or newer
- Kotlin for Forge 5.12.0 or a newer compatible 5.x release
- Java 21
Players without Emotify can still join supported servers, but they cannot send or see emotions.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
