- new stable addon API in
dinner.dev.endless_gravity.api:GravityApi.getGravityOffset/getGravityContextto ask what gravity the mod would apply,GravityApi.registerModifierto change or cancel it (the "calculate gravity" event), andGravityApi.channelForto map an entity to its gravity channel. Identical on Fabric and NeoForge - the mod's own gravity resolution now runs through one shared resolver, so
GravityApi.getGravityOffsetand the in-game behaviour can never disagree EndlessGravityAPIis no longer the documented addon surface; the versionedapipackage is- new
/endlessgravitycommand (permission level 2):reloadre-readsdimensions.jsonand re-syncs clients, infoprints the gravity resolved for you right now, andset <key> <value>changes any scalar setting live (for exampleset playerGravityOffset 0.04) - new Weightlessness and Heaviness status effects, with brewable potions of each (regular, splash, lingering and tipped arrows). Weightlessness lifts entities, Heaviness pulls them down; tune both under the new Potions tab. Brew Weightlessness from an awkward potion + phantom membrane, Heaviness from an awkward potion + iron ingot, and add redstone for the longer variants
dimensions.jsonentries can now set an optionalplayerGravityOffsetto give players a different offset than mobs in that dimension; omit it to inherit the globalplayerGravityOffset- new
endlessGravitygame rule: turn the mod's gravity off for a single world without touching the config - optional on-screen Gravity HUD readout, off by default (enable it on the config screen)
- fix: Overworld entity gravity now follows the layered atmosphere curve instead of a linear ramp, so gravity, atmospheric audio and the Sable pressure function share the exact same profile. The shipped
minecraft:overworldentry indimensions.jsonis ignored - fix: the config screen's "Max Gravity Offset" tooltip no longer claims the Overworld entry overrides it
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
