Enhanced VQ 0.9.6 — Minecraft 26.3 Update
Flora & Fauna
Added an illustrated catalog featuring 44 entries: 20 plants and 24 animals.
Each entry includes a sketch-style illustration, description, trivia, and additional details. Plant entries also include their uses.
Added animated list icons, including a Parrot that cycles through its five colors.
Entries are unlocked through gameplay:
Plants: keep one in your inventory.
Animals: breed the species until a baby is born.
Allay: duplicate it with an Amethyst Shard while it dances.
Parrot: tame it with seeds.
Undiscovered entries appear as black silhouettes.
Access the catalog through the quest book menu or the new villager head shortcut.
Added an on-screen notification when discovering a new entry.
New Artwork and Icons
Added sketch-style illustrations for all 44 entries.
Redesigned seven flowers: Dandelion, Poppy, Blue Orchid, Allium, Azure Bluet, Red Tulip, and Orange Tulip.
Added custom artwork for 14 animals and the Pitcher Plant.
Added a new Sheep animation.
Added a diamond hoe icon for the Farmer tab and a villager head shortcut for the Flora & Fauna catalog.
New Farmer Tab — 132 Quests
Added 132 quests focused on farming, animal breeding, and parrot taming.
Gardener: 60 quests covering all 20 plants, with three tiers per plant.
Breeder: 69 quests for breeding 22 animal species and duplicating Allays.
Parrot Tamer: 3 quests requiring players to tame 1, 5, and 20 parrots.
Each quest family features three tiers with objectives requiring 1, 5, and 20 units, as applicable.
Rewards can be claimed individually or through Claim All.
Rewards
Added themed rewards associated with each plant and animal, with items and quantities varying by tier.
Plant rewards include decorative blocks in different colors.
Special plant rewards include Torches for the Torchflower, Glowstone for the Eyeblossom, and an Enchanted Golden Apple for the final Wither Rose tier.
Tier III animal rewards include a Turtle Shell, Axolotl Bucket, Goat Horn, Wolf Armor, Saddle, Heart of the Sea, Name Tag, 64 Honeycombs, Jukebox, and Cat Music Disc.
Improvements and Fixes
Parrot: taming a parrot only counts once. Previously tamed parrots no longer count again when reloading a world, restarting a server, or when they leave the player's shoulder.
Allay: duplication only counts when it actually occurs. Using an Amethyst Shard during the cooldown no longer grants quest progress.
Fixed the Spanish text for the Torchflower entry and the message displayed when receiving the Crown.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
