Changes
2.3.0 updata:
• Fixed an issue where learning normal skills through Epic Fight: Skill Tree could automatically install them into extra slots that were not unlocked yet.
• Locked PASSIVE4..64, MOVER2..64, and IDENTITY2..64 slots now remain in the underlying skillContainers array but are removed from Epic Fight's active category index, preventing getFirstEmptyContainer from selecting them.
• Refreshes the active slot index immediately after unlocking or closing extra slots, and synchronizes cleanup for disabled slots.
• Improved extra slot detection so same-name slots registered by other Epic Fight slot expansion mods can still be recognized and managed correctly.
2.1.0 updata: •Added optional compatibility with Epic Fight: Skill Tree. When Skill Tree is installed, extra skill slots are no longer mainly controlled by the current slot count config. Instead, they are unlocked through the new extraslot skill tree. •Added a new Extra Slots skill tree page. It generates Passive, Mover, and Identity extra slot nodes based on the configured maximum extra slot values. •Added extra slot unlock skills: ◦Extra Passive Skill Slot ◦Extra Mover Skill Slot ◦Extra Identity Skill Slot •Added names, descriptions, tooltips, and skill category translations for the extra slot unlock skills. •Extra slot unlock skills are now handled as hidden marker skills after being learned. They no longer occupy normal Epic Fight skill slots. •Important: Unequipping an extra slot skill in Skill Tree will close the corresponding slot, and the consumed Soul Stone will not be refunded. •Added three Soul Stone items: ◦Passive Skillslot Soul Stone ◦Mover Skillslot Soul Stone ◦Identity Skillslot Soul Stone •Right-clicking a Soul Stone now stores it in player data for unlocking extra slots in Skill Tree, similar to how Ability Points work. •Added Soul Stone counters to the Skill Tree interface. •Added crafting recipes for the three Soul Stones using datapack recipe files under: ◦data/epicfight_skill_extraslots/recipes/ This makes the recipes easier for modpacks or players to modify. •Added Soul Stone crafting support. •The three Soul Stones are now added to the Epic Fight creative mode tab. •Fixed disabled extra slots still appearing in: ◦ Epic Fight’s original Skill screen ◦ Skill book slot selection screen ◦ Better Skill Menu • Added optional Better Skill Menu compatibility: ◦ Better Skill Menu is not required. ◦ When installed, disabled extra slots and extra slot unlock skills are hidden from its UI. • Fixed a Better Skill Menu crash on newer Epic Fight versions caused by the missing RANGED field. If an older Epic Fight version still provides the RANGED field, this compatibility mixin will not be applied. • Epic Fight: Skill Tree remains an optional dependency in mods.toml. • Added Better Skill Menu compatibility as an optional dependency. • Adjusted the extraslot skill tree priority so it no longer appears first in the Skill Tree sidebar. • Corrected config screen text: maximum extra slot limits take effect after re-entering the world, not after a full game restart. • Increased the hard maximum slot limits and added support for higher numbers of extra slot nodes, language keys, and node textures. • Cleaned up the project code structure: ◦ Removed unused fields and imports. ◦ Extracted Skill Tree node layout and priority values into constants. ◦ Replaced deprecated ResourceLocation constructor usage. ◦ Scanned and removed leftover debug code.
**1.1.0 updata:**Added runtime skill slot management, allowing extra Passive, Mover, and Identity skill slots to be added in-game without requiring a restart. Added and commands for increasing or decreasing specific slot types on selected players./extraslots add/extraslots remove Added for other mods to add, remove, or set slot counts through code.ExtraSlotsApi Added config options for separately modifying current slot counts and maximum slot limits. Added server-to-client synchronization so slot changes made by commands are applied and refreshed immediately. Renamed all previous Mobility references to Mover to match Epic Fight's terminology. Added an easter egg command (I’m not telling you — but if you’ve played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, you might know it) that raises selected players’ slot counts and maximum limits to the hard cap; the command is not registered to the Brigadier command tree and will not appear in autocomplete./?????? <targets> Prepared item code and resource placeholders for Passive/Mover/Identity Skillslot Soul Stones, which are planned to add slots when used with right-click. The items are not registered in this version yet because the textures are still being worked on, and are planned for the next update.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
