Additions
Blocks
Erdemium TNT
- Crafted from 4 Erdemium Ingots and 5 Underized Gunpowders
- The explosion suffocates nearby entities for 6-60 seconds depending on how close or direct the impact is
Effects
Suffocation
- Causes your air bar to deplete
- The higher the amplifier, the faster the depletion
- This effect depletes your air bar by half every 2/a seconds (a = amplifier [1-based])
- When your air bar reaches 0, you start to take 1 damage every 2/[2^(a-1)] seconds (a = amplifier [1-based]) until you restore air
- After this effect expires, your air bar starts to restore
- Restoration speed depends on how "open" the area is
- The more fresh air, the faster the restoration
- You will have maximum restoration rate if you have direct contact with fresh air
- You will have no restoration rate if you're inside of a cave or somewhere isolated from fresh air
- You restore 3o/20 air every second (o = "openness" value [0-1])
Entities
Underslate Creeper
- Spawns in Erdemia Caves
- Has the same stats as regular Creeper
- When explodes, it can infest nearby infestable blocks
- The explosion suffocates nearby entities for between 4.5-45 seconds depending on how close or direct the impact is
- Each newly-infested block has 10% chance to convert into Walking Block
- Drops 0-2 Underized Gunpowder on death
- Also drops Erdemishen Music Disc when killed by any skeleton
Items
Underized Gunpowder
- Dropped by Underslate Creepers
- Can also be crafted with a Gunpowder and 8 Underslates
- Can be thrown just like snowballs, ender pearls etc.
- Its projectile creates an explosion when it lands
- The explosion suffocates nearby entities for between 3-30 seconds depending on how close or direct the impact is
- The explosion doesn't affect the thrower
HUD
Air Bar
- A bar located on the right of your hotbar, where hunger bar is
- Air level is displayed as lung sprites
- The bar is visible when you have suffocation effect or you don't have full air
- Due to a bug, the bar also gets visible when you enter the world or respawn. It will be fixed in future snapshots

Changes
Biomes
Erdemia Caves
- Each chunk starting from y = -32 has 10% chance to be selected as "suffocation chunk"
- Just like slime chunks, they are determined by world seed and chunk coordinates
- Suffocation chunks will be able to be detected by "campfire smoke" particles
- Entities in suffocation chunks receive Suffocation effect for 5 seconds as long as they are inside
Entities
Erdemia Monsters
- Are now immune to new Suffocation effect
Erdemian Villager
- Optimized the code to prevent the game from lagging when searching job site blocks
Piano Boss
- Now actually spawns underground only
Thief
- Can now also steal Coins
Generic
- Removed unnecessary "repair item" tags by refining the item codes
Items
Food & Drinks
- Are now properly treated as "food" and "drink" via item tags
Mint and Rosehip
- Fixed a bug that caused them to be consumed when attempted to place on a non-air location
Player
- The health no longer gets full after the player enters End Portal in The End
Player Level System
- Attribute multipliers are now affected by your air level. Lower air levels cause them to decrease
Power-ups
Musical Mayhem
- Fixed a bug that prevented it from working in Erdemia
Structures
Erdemian Village
- Fixed weaponsmith workshop building by adding missing glass panes and torches
Tips
- Replaced the sentence "It's scary." into "Scary." in dark material tip (tip 3)
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
