Erydon v1.3
v1.3 brings native 32× textures built directly into Erydon. No extra pack needed — 32× is now the default “full detail” experience out of the box, with 16× available as a lite resource pack and the 64× PBR pack still available via Patreon.
Alongside that, v1.3 adds a huge batch of new content (new stones incl. selenephos, porphyros, aterzon + a full rusticated set with height maps), a new Romanesque arch system, finished modern light blocks, plus Continuity bundled in-jar so CTM works automatically for everyone.
Added
- Steep Slopes: New steep slope blocks with upper + lower models for every texture.
- New textures:
- selenephos (alabaster)
- porphyros (purple stone)
- aterzon (panda marble)
Each includes standard, ashlar, aged, herringbone, and rusticated variants.
- Translucent “diaphanes” variants: Added translucent versions of mielonyx, selenephos, borealis, gelastrum. Used for the modern light, plus new full blocks, panes, layers, vertical layers.
- Rusticated variants: New rusticated textures with detailed height maps for all textures (excluding the new translucent variants).
- Romanesque Arch: New Romanesque arch in 1 / 2 / 3-wide sizes, available in standard, ashlar, aged, rusticated.
- Auto-assembly
- Optional circular column detailing for 2- and 3-wide models (sneak-right-click with empty hand)
- Light blocks (finished): The modern fitting is now complete:
- Adjustable height (place additional blocks to increase height)
- Toggle on/off (right-click)
- Available in all 24 standard finishes, plus aged, plus the 4 diaphanes variants
- More light fittings coming next version
- Circular Chimney: Decorative circular chimney blocks.
- Modern Surround: New modern surround (standard + aged) for all textures.
- Glazing blocks: Added full cube glazing blocks.
Changed
- 32× textures: 32× textures are now created and hardwired into the mod.
- 16× is available as a “lite” resource pack
- 64× remains a premium resource pack via Patreon
- Guilloche Surround: Models now hug the inner edge of the opening better while keeping the central pilaster effect.
- Item model GUIs: GUI data moved into parent models (removed from wrappers).
Improved
- Cullface pass: Reviewed models and improved cullface usage for a small performance gain.
- Blockstate handling: Complete rewrite to improve load times and performance. It shouldn’t affect existing builds — please report anything that breaks.
Compatibility
- Continuity built-in: Continuity 3.0.0+1.20.1 is now bundled inside the Erydon jar.
- Seamless 6×6 CTM works out of the box, along with 47-tile overlay textures.
- Continuity is by PepperCode1, licensed under LGPL-3.0-only.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
