BIG UPDATE!
[0.8.0-1.21.11]
Added:
- Traveler Job
- Job GUI (/jobs): Server-side chest inventory menu — no client mod required. Shows all jobs with icons, lore, XP/Coins and current level. Active job glows with enchantment effect.
- J-Key Keybinding: Opens the job GUI from the client side.
- Job Level System (0–100)
- Level Multiplier: Rewards scale with level from 1.0× (Lv 0) up to 10.0× (Lv 100), with bigger milestone jumps every 10 levels.
- Level-Up Sound: Plays the LEVELUP sound on level-up and the special achievement sound on reaching level 100.
- Perk System —> passive bonuses at levels 25, 50, 75, 100:
Miner: Haste I → Tool durability → Haste II + Double drop → Fortune II
Builder: Saturation → Saturation II → — → Luck II (crafting bonus)
Farmer: Auto-replant → Faster crop growth → Rare drops → +2 harvest items
Hunter: Strength I → Extra drops → Strength II → Looting effect
Alchemist: — → — → Negative effects halved → Permanent Regeneration I
Enchanter: XP bonus → XP boost → XP bonus → XP boost (compensates enchanting cost)
Fisherman: Luck I → Better loot → +Rod durability → Luck II
Lumberjack: +1 log drop → 2× saplings → Apples from oak → Fell entire tree
Traveler: Speed I → Slow Falling → Night Vision → Absorption II
Anti-Cheat: Blocks placed by players yield no XP or coins. Alchemist only awards XP/Coins for real potions with status effects — not for water bottles or awkward potions. Traveler: Awards XP/Coins for discovering new biomes and structures. Distance milestone system (starts at 100 blocks, increases by 20% each milestone). config/ESSX/Jobs.json: Central config file. Stores job XP/coin rates, miner block tiers (low/mid/high), lumberjack block tiers, and all player progress. Miner block tiers in Jobs.json: Serveradmins can add/remove blocks and set XP/coins per tier. Lumberjack block tiers in Jobs.json: Same tier system as Miner.
Bug fixes:
Player data persistence: Job, level, XP, coins, discovered biomes/structures and distance are saved to Jobs.json and restored on login. Update Checker: Checks Modrinth on server start using semantic version comparison. Notifies online operators if a newer version is available.
Hope yall enjoy and stay tuned! ~KRob
