[FABRIC] v6.0 - 1.19.2

Changelog

New instruments, new mechanics, and... Records?!
This patch introduces a major re-write to the ENTIRE mod! Let's explore what's new in it:

Migration Note

Loopers from version v3.0 will cease to work following this mod's update. To update them, simply insert an empty record, and let le` magic do its thing.

This will only work on v3.0 loopers!

Changes

  • New dependency requirement: Genshin Instruments v3.4.1
  • Removed Instrument Accessories tabs; merged with main Instruments tab

Instruments

  • New Asian instruments! (suggested by u/OllinArra)

    • Shamisen & Bachi
    • Pipa (Regular & Tremolo)
    • Koto
  • The Violin now requires a Violin Bow to play

  • Added sound source credits to (almost) all instruments

  • Block instruments now do not stack

Looper

  • Loopers now use Records to store their data
  • Added new looper state: looping
    • Controls whether this looper will be either looping or pausing after a track has been played

Redstone

  • Loopers now take playing redstone input, and as thus - are now directed there. (Suggsted by Emerald 310)
    • The input's behaviour changes depending on the looping state:
      • When enabled, the Looper will toggle the playing state, resetting its track
      • When disabled, the Looper will always restart from the beginning
  • The Looper Comparator output now specifies whether it is playing (15) or not (0)

Records

Records are escentially disks that can be put inside of a looper to play their tracks.

Writable Record

To write a new disk, simply insert an Empty Record onto the block, and let the usual recordings uphold.
Additionally, you can pop out records from the Looper, and transfer or copy them to wherever your heart desires.

Pre-Burned Records

Pre-Burned records are records that can be found natrually in the world of Mineccraft, and be played in the Looper.

The following are the records, and where one may find them:

  1. Super Idol - De Xian Rong: Jungle Temple
  2. Sad Romance - Ji Pyeongkeyon: Savanna villages
  3. Timmy Trumpet & Savage - Freaks: Bastions
  4. Interesting Record: Abandoned Mineshafts
  5. Hänschen klein - Franz Wiedemann: Buried Treasure

/emirecord Command

This command is responsible for handling locally saved records; similar to structure blocks.

  • save: Saves a new record track from the Player's hands. The track will be saved under the /generated/<id>/evenmoreinstruments/records directory.
  • burn: Burns the provdided track onto the player's held Empty Record.
  • remove: Self-explanatory

Technical

  • Recording tag moved from instruments to players
  • Fixed conventinal key namings in all NBT references

Fixed

  • Potential Quilt incompatibility issues (Fabric-only)
  • Basically all Looper quircks & glitches
