Changes
This is the first official release of Executable Commands Items (ECI) for Fabric 1.21.1. You can now create items that execute any command when used. The /eci create command lets you define custom items linked to any server, mod, or plugin command. These items can then be given to players with /eci give and removed with /eci delete.
This version includes full tab-completion for all registered commands and for all custom item names, making command setup easier and faster. All created items and their assigned commands are automatically saved in the config/eci_items.json file, ensuring persistence between server restarts.
Items now properly execute their assigned command when right-clicked, and all feedback messages are visible only to the player who uses the item. Commands are executed as the player, respecting their permissions.
Compatible with Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric Loader, and Fabric API.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
