Changes
ExfilCraft v1.4.0
π¦ New mobs
- Sharks hunt anyone in the water or in a boat, and two bites sink a boat.
- The Fire Creeper lives in hot biomes and sets whatever it blasts on fire.
π° Loot
- Chests pay far fewer raw materials, so mining is now more prominent.
- Nights pay more and hit harder by the moon phase, up to double at a full moon.
- The Nether, Deep Dark and End hand out netherite, Echo and Enderite gear respectively.
- Chests you open now roll the books, schematics and gear the way they were meant to.
- Locked crates and air drops also carry ammo, potions, keys and pearls.
- A Schematic holds 8 uses instead of 16.
βοΈ Raids
- Enforcers, Guardsmen, Marksmen, Prowlers and Vindicators lead patrols and guard bunkers, air drops and the Illager Fort.
- Illagers take quest givers captive. Kill the captors to free them.
- The centre crater is a deep open-pit quarry with a sculk floor.
- Raid villages have their villagers again.
- Lone floating islands are now part of the world, each with a treasure chest.
π Home
- New homes start Hostile, and the Peaceful switch costs 32 emeralds to unlock once. Existing homes keep their last setting.
- Residents show their skill and what they are doing, and an Obituary lists the ones you lost.
- The Mason, Toolsmith, and Lumberjack will keep working while you are away, and the Shepherd will gather loose livestock.
β‘ Performance
- Deploying, landing and walking up to big structures no longer freeze the game.
βοΈ Server owners
- Defaults load from the mod, so updates always arrive. Your edits are kept per world.
- Config is split into server, client and common files, carried over automatically.
- Trades, quests, roaming traders and the first-join kit are datapack files that take item data.
Thanks to mrwaka, whose reports shaped the datapack and config rework.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
