βοΈ New materials
- Tungsten ore, deep in the Overworld. Tungsten gear sits between iron and diamond, and its armour shrugs off some knockback.
- Tempered Obsidian sits between diamond and netherite. A diamond, a magma cream and an Obsidian Shard from the new Nether Obsidian Ore make an ingot, and its armour takes less from explosions.
- Netherite, Echo and Enderite gear now upgrade from Tempered Obsidian.
- Copper hits like iron and protects nearly as well, but wears out much sooner.
- Diamond ore is half as common, and raid loot pays diamonds or tungsten.
π Residents
- Seven more trades have jobs: leatherworker, librarian, armorer, weaponsmith, chef, cleric and fletcher.
- A panel beside a resident's inventory shows what it can gather or make, and you choose what it skips.
- Friends can be made Owners of your plot.
π Raids
- Armour trims turn up in Overworld raid chests, each in its own kind of building.
- Nether buildings roll better loot.
- Every large floating island has a breeze on top.
ποΈ Beds
- Lie down at any hour to slowly heal without using food. In a raid the room has to be closed in.
π΅ Music
- A chest on a jukebox turns it into a playlist.
- Every relic comes with a Relic music disc.
πΉ Arrows
- Refit arrows and bolts at the fletching table with a phantom membrane, sharpened flint or an echo shard.
π§ Also
- Streamer mode shows every player name as a colour and animal alias.
- Servers can turn away see-through resource packs and cheat mods.
- Mob Tonics turn you into any mob for a while, from the creative tab or a command.
Note: New ores and rarer diamonds only appear in land generated after the update.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
