Covered campfire flight stations
- Place a closed trapdoor directly above a lit campfire to keep only a few small smoke wisps visible above the lid.
- Crouch on the trapdoor with Elytra equipped to charge, then stand up to launch. Neighbouring campfire and hay bonuses, plus Smokestack charges, are preserved.
- Open the trapdoor to restore the tall smoke column and allow gliders to ride the updraft overhead.
- Both upper and lower trapdoors work, including iron trapdoors controlled by redstone. Each campfire needs its own lid.
- Extinguished campfires cannot recharge a glider. Solid roofs and water still block updrafts.
Built for Minecraft 26.1.2 with Fabric. Install the updated mod on both client and server.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
