Changes
Explorer's Kit 1.4.1
This maintenance release makes backpacks simpler and more reliable.
Fixed
- Fixed stacks disappearing when inserted into backpacks with Shift-click.
- Removed shared stack references between the player inventory and backpack storage.
- Confirmed backpack contents persist after closing, reopening and respawning.
Changed
- Backpacks now focus on normal portable storage: open, store items and close.
- Advanced backpack controls are no longer exposed in the active backpack interface.
Still Included
- Five backpack tiers from Basic to Netherite.
- Explorer Gear equipment slot and optional Curios support.
- Tier-scaled 3D backpack rendering.
- Camping Bed, MiniMap, Cave Map, fullscreen Explorer Map, waypoints and adventure HUDs.
Built for Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 with Java 17.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
