Extended block shapes
This mod adds more shapes for many vanilla blocks, including shapes that do not exist in vanilla Minecraft, like vertical slabs, vertical stairs or quarter pieces. Most of the blocks have vanilla behaviours, like what their base block behaves.

Changes
- Optimized the implementation of item group rules. Item group rules are no longer rebuilt when rebuilding Creative inventories, and can be used earlier. Now the items in the mod should be able to be displayed in the item list of JustEnoughItems mod.
- Followed the updates in 3.1.5 for versions below 1.21.10, including:
- Fixed the tag issue of shape variants of copper block, pumpkin and melon.
- Considering vanilla
pressure_platesandstone_pressure_platesonly have block tags, no item tags, this mod uses corresponding tags namespacedextshape. - Added blocks related to herringbone charred nether bricks.
- Readded the feature of "specific item groups" removed at the time of Minecraft 1.19.3. Now there are 5 specific groups: wooden and bamboo blocks, colored blocks, stone blocks, mineral blocks, other blocks. Enabling or disabling specific item groups now requires restarting the game.
- In the specific item group for colored blocks, colors are sorted like in vanilla item groups.
- Added two config entries: wooden and bamboo block specific item group sorting and colored blocks item group sorting.
- The sorting for item groups of wooden and bamboo blocks can be: "same species different forms together" (default), "same form different species together". "Species" refers to different types of trees, such as oak and birch, and "form" refers to how the wood is processed, such as wood (hyphae), log (stem), planks. Bamboo block is treated as log form; bamboo planks are treated as planks form; there are no corresponding wood form for bamboo. For example, when setting to "same species different forms together", variant forms like oak wood, stripped oak wood and oak planks are placed together, while when setting to "same form different species together", wood blocks like oak wood and birch wood are placed together, and plank blocks like oak planks and birch planks are placed together.
- The sorting for item groups of colored blocks can be: "same color different shapes together" and "same shape different colors together". For example, when setting to "same color different shapes together", white wool along with its stairs and slab is placed together, light gray wool along with its stairs and slab is placed together, while when setting to "same shape different colors together", base blocks of white wool, light gray wool and wool block of other various colors are placed together, the wool stairs of various colors are placed together, and the wool slabs of various colors are placed together.
- In the mod's configuration screen, when "show specific item groups" is off, the buttons for the two config entries above will be disabled.
- Fixed the issue that when modifying "shapes to add to vanilla item groups" and "shapes to add to specific item groups", the modification cannot work if nothing but the order is changed.
- Now in the configuration screen, when the "add to vanilla item groups" and "show specific item groups" are off, besides relevant text fields, the "reset" button right to the text field will also be disabled.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
