Fast Creeper Mod - Changelog
This document tracks the major changes and feature additions to the mod.
Version 0.3.0 - The "Chaos & Quality of Life" Update
This major update expands the mod far beyond its original scope, adding new challenges, rewards, and quirky mechanics.
General:
- The mod has been renamed from "FastCreeperMod" to "ChaosCraft" to better reflect its wide range of new features.
New Features:
- Enhanced Zombies: A new game rule (
zombiesEnhanced) can be enabled to make all zombies spawn as fast, powerful, baby versions. - Timed Block Rewards: A new system has been added that gives all online players a random block every 50 seconds. The pool of possible blocks expands as players unlock advancements, making it a progressive reward system.
- Crouching Crop Growth: A unique farming mechanic has been introduced.
- Crouching near crops now accelerates their growth.
- After crouching for one minute, there is a 30% chance of a "special event" occurring, which involves a sound, brown particles, and a brief pause in the growth effect.
Version 0.1.0 - Initial Release (as "FastCreeperMod")
This was the first version of the mod, focusing exclusively on overhauling creeper mechanics.
Features:
- Enhanced Creepers: Introduced a three-level system to make creepers faster, healthier, and more dangerous.
- Game Rules: Added game rules (
fastRandomCreeper, fastRandomCreeperCharged, fastRandomCreeperEndCrystal) to control the creeper difficulty. - Chat Commands: Included simple chat commands to easily switch between creeper levels.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
