Changes
Figura Lite 1.3.7 (Minecraft 1.21.1)
This brings 1.21.1 up to date with the 1.20.1 line. Everything below is new for 1.21.1 users.
β¨ New
- Ignore list tab: add or remove players by name. Ignored players are never hidden. Names are not case-sensitive.
- Quick ignore: click "+ Ignore" next to any player in the list to toggle them.
- Player search: filter the nearby-players list by name.
- Redesigned settings screen: Settings and Ignore list tabs, a side-by-side layout on wide screens, and a status panel.
- "Settings saved" notification when you press Save.
β‘ Performance
- Hidden avatars stop using CPU: avatars hidden by Auto Panic no longer tick or render, so far-away players cost almost nothing.
- Smoother edge behavior: avatars restore 2 blocks inside your chosen distance, so they don't flicker when a player stands right at the edge.
- Fewer disk writes: saves are batched and retried calmly if they fail.
π‘οΈ Stability
- Avatars are restored automatically when you leave a server, change worlds, close the game, or turn Auto Panic off.
- Avatars reload when players come back into range, so they show up correctly instead of staying broken.
- Players are only hidden after you've seen them nearby once, so you don't block avatars you never had a chance to load.
- Crash-safe settings: the config can no longer be corrupted by a crash during saving.
β οΈ Important
- One-time permission reset: on first launch, any player set to BLOCKED in Figura is reset to DEFAULT. This cleans up blocks left behind by older versions, but it also clears players you blocked by hand, so re-block them in Figura afterwards if needed.
- Default key is now
I(wasK). If you already set your own key, it stays.
π Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric Loader 0.17.3+, Fabric API, and Figura.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
