Figura Lite 1.3.6 β Performance Update
This update focuses on improving FPS in areas with many players, especially on servers using Figura avatars.
Improvements
- Suspends Lua ticks for avatars hidden by Auto Panic.
- Skips model rendering and world-render events for suspended avatars.
- Adds distance-based LOD for avatar animations.
- Reduces
EntityModel.setupAnim()frequency for distant entities. - Reduces Figura-related Render Thread usage in crowded areas.
- Keeps the local player's avatar and ignored players working normally.
Fixes
- Fixed the
ThreadPool already initializedcrash. - Fixed the
Pose stack not emptycrash. - Fixed the
EntityModel.setupAnim()Mixin target for Minecraft 1.20.1. - Fixed the Redirect handler signature to match Minecraft bytecode.
- Prevented
LivingEntityRenderer.render()from being cancelled unexpectedly. - Ensured the RSmooth thread pool is initialized only once.
Technical Changes
- Replaced the cancellable
LivingEntityRendererinjection with a targeted Redirect. - Added Mixins to suspend
Avatar.tick()and avatar rendering. - Improved compatibility with the custom Figura build used by APlace/Jormjon.
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Fabric Loader
- Figura required
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
