First Class Flying

Native NeoForge port for Minecraft 1.21.8.

Preserves the First Class Flying flight physics, momentum and inertia, animation transitions, and readable debug overlay from the tested checkpoint. Uses native loader integration and configuration. Fabric API and Mod Menu are not required for First Class Flying. Install the matching First Class Flying build on the client and server for powered flight. A client connected to a server without the mod remains inactive. Tested loader: 21.8.54. Required Java runtime: 21.

Optional animation compatibility: Fresh Animations: Player Extension is a resource pack and requires matching Entity Model Features (EMF) and Entity Texture Features (ETF) mods. These are optional and must match this Minecraft version and loader.

Validation: this artifact passed a clean build, regression tests, and a real client/server flight test. Detailed transition and network testing additionally covered Minecraft 1.21.11 on both native loaders. Other versions did not receive the same per-part continuity analysis, and not every optional-mod combination was tested.

Known animation limitation: low-FPS tests can exceed the pose-rate bound also observed in the unchanged Fabric baseline; perfect smoothness at all frame rates is not claimed.
