Fletcher's Trestle - Archery Mod
Fletcher’s Trestle overhauls Minecraft’s archery by replacing the basic crafting table bow with a modular system. From the raw log to the perfect release, every step of the process is in your hands. Modular bows, crossbows, arrows, in the palm of your hand

Fletcher's Trestle — 2.2.1
The Singularity. A new creative-only Black Hole arrow collapses a piece of the world into a gravitational set piece — and modular arrows can finally be fired from dispensers.
🕳️ The Black Hole arrow
A new creative-only arrow head that turns its impact point into a black hole:
- Gargantua, in Minecraft — a fully procedural 3D set piece (no textures): an opaque event-horizon sphere wrapped in a warm, Doppler-shifted accretion disk, a lensed halo bending over the void, and a crisp photon ring, inspired by Interstellar.
- It devours everything — blocks, dropped items, mobs, and even block entities (chests, machines) are dragged in and consumed. Crossing the event horizon is instant death.
- An expanding crater — destruction starts tight at the impact and sweeps outward over its lifetime, frictionlessly hauling everything inward and carving a growing crater. Only exposed blocks erode; bedrock and other unbreakable blocks resist.
- Assembled at the Fletching Table from a Barrier (keeping it creative-only),
and fully integrated: it appears in the
/ftcommands and JEI, and has a proper translated name.
🎯 Bug Fixes
- Dispensers can now fire modular arrows, carrying their full assembly (head, shaft, fletching and every behavior) — so you can even wire a black-hole arrow to a redstone trigger.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
