This datapack makes food less accessible during the early game, adjusts the drops of several mobs to better match them, and adds a few new recipes.
Villages Carrots and potatoes no longer generate in village farms. Potatoes have been removed from village house chests. Hay bale piles have been replaced with pumpkin piles (savanna villages now generate only melon piles).
Mobs
- Fish (all types) – now drop fish items with only a 20% chance.
- Goat – drops 1–2 mutton.
- Llama – drops 1–2 mutton.
- Horse – drops 1–2 beef.
- Donkey – drops 1–2 beef.
- Mule – drops 1–2 beef.
- Camel – drops 1–3 beef and 0–3 leather.
- Turtle – drops 0–1 mutton and 0–2 scutes.
- Armadillo – drops 0–1 mutton and 0–2 armadillo scutes.
- Sniffer – drops 1–5 beef and 1–5 leather.
Recipes
- Beetroot Soup – now requires 3 beetroot instead of 6.
- Meat Soup – any meat + bowl + carrot + potato + beetroot. Restores 14 hunger and 14 saturation, and grants Resistance for 45 seconds.
- Fish Soup – any fish + bowl + carrot + potato + beetroot. Restores 12 hunger and 12 saturation, and grants Strength for 30 seconds.
- Mushroom Soup – red or brown mushroom + bowl + carrot + potato + beetroot. Restores 10 hunger and 10 saturation, and grants Regeneration for 15 seconds.
- Borscht – any meat + Beetroot soup + carrot + potato + red or brown mushroom. Restores 14 hunger and 14 saturation, and grants Saturation for 7.5 seconds.
