Changelog - Version 1.2.0
š£ Realism & Visual Enhancements
- Footprint Rotation & Directional Alignment: Footprints now dynamically rotate to match the exact direction (yaw) your player was facing when they stepped. This can be toggled using
/footsteps rotation <true/false>. - Alternating Footsteps: Footprint placement now alternates to the left and right of your player's center path for a more realistic walking trail. This can be toggled using
/footsteps alternating <true/false>. - Stealth (Sneak) Mode: Sneaking now halts all footprint tracking entirely. Enabling this mode keeps your trail hidden from others when you want to remain stealthy. This can be toggled using
/footsteps stealth <true/false>.
š Dimension Tracking
- Cross-Dimension Cleaning: Footprints are now tracked and filtered per-dimension. When you travel to another dimension (e.g., entering the Nether or End), footprints from other dimensions will no longer render floating in mid-air or clutter your view.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
