Changes
[1.8.2]
Changed
- Single modern build now supports both Minecraft 26.1.2 and 26.2 — The modern build target now uses a flexible dependency range (
>=26.1for Minecraft,>=0.155.1for Fabric API) infabric.mod.json. A singlegradle buildModernproduces one JAR that works on both Minecraft 26.1.2 and 26.2 without separate artifacts. - Build system improvements — Added
minecraft_depandfabric_depproperties tobuild.gradle.kts, keeping the compile-time dependency pinned to a specific version while declaring a wider runtime compatibility range in the mod metadata.
Fixed
- Mod rejected on Minecraft 26.1.2 — The previous hard dependency on
Minecraft >=26.2prevented the mod from loading on 26.1.2. The runtime dependency is now>=26.1, accepting all 26.x releases.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
