Changes
Migrate to Minecraft 26.3 (1.2.13+mc26.3) Input and windowing in 26.3 use SDL3 instead of GLFW, so the input code now goes through Minecraft's SDL-based abstractions:
- InputConstants.Type.KEYSYM -> InputConstants.Type.KEYBOARD
- GLFW.GLFW_KEY_F6/N/ESCAPE -> InputConstants.KEY_F6/N/ESCAPE; physical keys are now SDL scancodes rather than GLFW key codes
- MouseButtonEvent.button() == 0 -> == InputConstants.MOUSE_BUTTON_LEFT, since SDL numbers mouse buttons from 1
Keybind names are unchanged, so remaps already saved in options.txt keep working. Screen lifecycle and cursor handling needed no changes.
Toolchain: Gradle 9.8.0 (Loom 1.18.2 requires >= 9.7.0), Fabric Loader 0.19.5, Loom 1.18.2, Fabric API 0.161.0+26.3, fabric-key-mapping-api-v1 2.0.8+3434d6d95d, ModMenu 21.0.0, and the fabric.mod.json depends.minecraft range is now ~26.3.
Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
