Changes
- update to 26.3
- sitting by right-clicking blocks is now a per-player opt-in:
/fsit blocksit on|off(/fsit blocksitto check), off by default — no more accidentally sitting on a shulker box while holding a torch. Thesitting.enabledconfig entry remains the server-wide master switch - fix observers seeing riders frozen mid-air on fast-moving stacks (e.g. boats in hyperloop tunnels): vanilla could deliver the passenger-list packet before the spawn packet of a chain entity and silently drop the attachment; the whole chain's links are now re-sent a tick after any chain entity starts being tracked
- riding mobs: ops can let players ride mobs (
riding.mobsin the config, off by default) and pick which ones with/fsit mobs on|off|add|remove|list. Vanilla interactions (trading, taming, saddles, milking, …) always win over riding. Clicking a mob that already carries a rider stacks you onto that rider with the usual player-riding rules. A ridden mob stays saved with its chunk (without FSit's invisible helper entity), is not taken away when its rider logs out, and doesn't use portals while carrying riders /fsit set sitting on|off(ops): switch all sitting off or back on for everyone at runtime (/sit, double sneak, the sit key, clicking blocks), e.g. when vanilla 26.3 cushions are enough for sitting; riding, crawling and laying keep working. Saved tositting.enabled, which is now the switch for all sitting instead of only clicking blocks/layno longer makes tamed cats walk over, lie on you and drop "morning gifts" when you get up- fix standing up from a seat sliding you sideways: seated on full blocks (e.g. logs) the client kept a "push out of the block" velocity that carried over after dismounting; standing up via the sit key also dismounted the client early, before the server moved the player
- fix personal settings (
/fsit blocksit, idle hand items) resetting after death or leaving the End, and the server forgetting that the player has the client mod - fix quick successive config changes (e.g.
/fsit set sitting offthenon) sometimes saving the older value - players riding on you shrink while you look up, only on your own screen, so you can see above you and fly off vertically. Works without the client mod (the server shrinks them down to a tenth of their size); with the client mod they also turn see-through ("Fade Riders Above", on by default). Only the player at the bottom of the stack gets this
- client fixes:
- key bindings and sneaking up from
/crawl//laynow work on servers withuse-server-config: true(the server used to reject every pose change from the client) - key binding modes and the hybrid window are saved (to
config/fsit-client.yml) instead of resetting on restart - the sneak that stands you up or dismounts you no longer counts as the first half of a double-sneak (standing up from a crawl used to start crawling again right away)
- a tapped hybrid key no longer drops when a screen (inventory, chat) opens and closes
- the options screens no longer overwrite changes made meanwhile with
/fsit setor/fsit reload - leaving a seat/ride before a dimension change now actually triggers client-side
- key bindings and sneaking up from

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
