Quest narration (new)
- Quest descriptions can type themselves out the first time you open a quest, with a blip per letter and short pauses at punctuation. Click or press any key to skip.
- It's off by default. Turn it on with Enable Quest Narration in the client config.
- Centered descriptions stay fixed in place as they type, instead of sliding out from the middle.
Navigation
- Fixed the view sometimes opening off-centre after switching chapters.
- With Free Pan off, the view keeps a fixed edge margin at any zoom, so a fully zoomed-out chapter no longer feels cramped.
- You can zoom out much further.
Performance
- Large chapters and far-out zoom are much smoother. Quest data refreshes less often, the tiled background is drawn as a single quad and capped, and off-screen quests and lines are skipped.
Fixes
- Fixed a crash on servers that don't have this mod installed, when narration was enabled.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
