Changes
Update to 26.1.2 and port the remaining features of Functional Storage 1.6.4
New Content:
- Pale Oak Drawers (1x1, 1x2, 2x2)
- Framed Fluid Drawers (1x1, 1x2, 2x2), retexturable like the other framed blocks
- Dripping Upgrade: generates 20 mB of lava every second
- Water Generator Upgrade: generates 2000 mB of water every tick
- Obsidian Generator Upgrade: generates 1 obsidian every 15 seconds
- New recipes:
- Convert a Puller Upgrade into a Pusher Upgrade and back
- Oak drawers can be crafted from planks of any modded wood
- Compacting recipes for amethyst, glowstone, ice, melon, packed ice and quartz
- New tags:
c:relocation_not_supported,functionalstorage:drawer_1x1,drawer_1x2,drawer_2x2,fluid_drawer,drawer_storage_denylist,fluid_drawer_storage_denylist,armory_cabinet_insertable,creative_vending_upgrade_incompatible
Ported Features:
- Drawer priority: set it in the drawer GUI; controllers fill and empty higher-priority drawers first, and a broken drawer keeps its priority
- Armory Cabinet GUI with scrolling and a search box
- Comparator output for item, compacting, fluid and ender drawers
- Ender Drawers: a Void Upgrade put in one drawer makes the whole frequency void, and the lock state is shared by every drawer on the same frequency
- Only one Void Upgrade can be installed per drawer
- Configuration Tool on a controller locks or unlocks every drawer linked to it
- Double right-click a drawer slot to insert every matching item from your inventory
- Linking Tool tells you when drawers are out of the controller's range
- Creative pick block (middle click) on a drawer copies its contents, upgrades and lock
- Data-driven upgrades, compatible with the original's format:
item_storage_modifier,fluid_storage_modifierandcontroller_range_modifiercomponents (modify_factor,set_base,modify_base)functional_upgrade_behaviorcomponent withexecute_every,and,generate_item,generate_fluid,move_items,move_fluids,collect_item_entities,collect_fluids,emit_redstoneanddelegate_to_itemincompatible_upgradescomponentFunctionalUpgradeItembase class for addons
- Drawer items expose their item and fluid storage to other mods through the Fabric Transfer API
- Config files (
functionalstorage-common.properties,functionalstorage-client.properties) with an in-game Mod Menu screen; servers send their values to clients - Denied items and fluids, Creative Vending Upgrade incompatibilities and extra Armory Cabinet items are configurable through tags and config lists
Compatibility:
- Jade: shows drawer contents, upgrades, multiplier, Ender frequency and Armory Cabinet fill
- JEI: compacting recipe category, and drawers with contents are shown as separate entries
- The One Probe: drawer contents, upgrades, fluid tanks, Ender frequency and Armory Cabinet fill
- FTB Chunks: other players cannot take items out of drawers inside a protected claim
Changes:
- Drawer capacity now depends on the item's max stack size, like the original. For example, a 1x1 drawer holds 2048 cobblestone but 512 ender pearls and 32 swords. Drawers that already hold more than the new limit keep their items but accept no more.
- A storage upgrade cannot be removed while the drawer needs its space. This covers normal clicks, shift-click, number keys and dropping, and also applies to fluid drawers. An Iron Downgrade cannot be installed in a drawer that is too full. The Creative Vending Upgrade can always be removed.
- Recipes that use a drawer as an ingredient only accept empty drawers, so a drawer with contents is never crafted away
Fixes:
- Broken drawers now show their stored items, fluids and upgrades when hovered in the inventory
- Breaking a linked drawer now removes it from its controller and from the Linking Tool outline
- Drawer data no longer nests deeper inside the dropped item each time it is broken and placed
- Framed blocks and items are retextured correctly again, including dividers and framed fluid drawers
- The Framed Storage Controller and Framed Controller Extension are no longer invisible
- Block items show their proper names
- Restored the drawer GUI, the controller range and selection preview, fluid drawer rendering, and drawer front lighting and number layout
- Drawer contents are now rendered on drawer items in the inventory
- Restored the Linking Tool and Configuration Tool colors, the fluid drawer HUD hint, upgrade description tooltips, and the relative direction line in the drawer GUI
- Emptying a fluid drawer into a stack of buckets no longer fills two buckets at once
- Puller and Pusher Upgrades move one bucket when the other side only handles whole buckets, such as a lava cauldron
- Collector Upgrade can pick up fluid sources into fluid drawers again
- Locked fluid drawers only accept their filter fluid; right click an empty locked slot with a filled container to set the filter. An empty locked slot shows its filter fluid faded.
Localization:
- Added Japanese, Russian and Ukrainian
- Completed every language: all 13 language files now contain every key, including the config screen
- Fixed untranslated and mistranslated strings in Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Korean and Simplified Chinese
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
