Changes
- ๐ Fixed economies locking after a restart solely because valid receipt history exceeded 10,000 files.
- ๐งน Added automatic cleanup of the oldest completed receipt history in batches targeting 1,000 files. Final recovery evidence is preserved before old files are removed.
- โ๏ธ Added
receipts.automatic_cleanupinfutureshops-common.toml, enabled by default. Set it tofalseand restart to keep unlimited history. The config warns about disk space and startup memory growth. - ๐ฌ Fixed failed admin balance operations disconnecting players while displaying the error message.
- ๐ Server logs now report the reason an economy freezes.
/futureshops debug statusand new debug captures include the current provider and recovery diagnostic. - ๐ Fixed dynamic prices drifting downward instead of recovering toward their configured base price.
- ๐ Buying can raise prices without the old downward decay offset. Selling still adds supply and can lower prices.
- ๐ช Fixed idle prices getting stuck near their base because of currency rounding.
- โ๏ธ Added independent percentage or fixed amount floors and ceilings for dynamic reference prices. Existing percentage settings remain the default.
- ๐พ Existing shop prices and balances are preserved. No wallet reset is needed.
- โ ๏ธ Back up the complete world before upgrading. Keep the receipt checkpoint with the world data. Older builds require a complete matching backup to downgrade after receipt cleanup.
- ๐ Unfinished trades and conflicting records remain protected. Cleanup does not resolve an existing mismatch between receipts and saved financial records. Preserve the backup and reconcile those records before reopening trades.
- ๐ Install FutureShops 2.5.1 on both client and server for Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
