Changelog
Finally!
This one was huge! I polished it the best i could. Now, if there's something to be fixed or improved, will be in a future version.
Heres the changelog.
Phantom Rework
- The vanilla spawn mechanics are no longer used. Instead, the game will attempt to summon 1 Phantom, once per night per player.
- No Phantoms spawn at Full Moon.
- No Phantoms spawn during the first 5 game days.
- The spawn attempt will fail if any of these conditions are met:
- There's a Black Cat (variant "all black") up to 16 blocks around the player.
- The chosen point is up to 64 blocks around a End Crystal.
- The chosen point is up to 16 blocks around a Cat or Ocelot.
- There's no valid point in a range of 32 blocks from the player that the command /spreadplayers can successfully chose.
- Players with a Clock in the inventory or hotbar will see particles when a Phantom Spawn.
- The spawned Phantom has 85% chance of being a Weak Phantom.
- 50% less Max Health.
- More Weak Phantoms can emerge from where it dies.
- When instakilled by a player with a spear in any hand, temporarely enhance all Weak Phantoms in the area.
- The spawned Phantom has 15% chance of being The Phantom.
- Max Health is a lot higher.
- Has some armor points.
- Double the size of a normal one.
- Attack damage is a lot higher.
- Disable Shields.
- Applies Darkness to players around.
- Try to follow the player.
- Drop 1 extra Phantom Membrane.
- Drop 1 Ominous Bottle with a Random level.
- Is persistent.
- Added Phantasma Liquor.
- A drink craftable using an Experience Source, Phantom Membranes and Ominous Bottle.
- Marks the player with the "phantom_knightmare" tag, wich makes so the game makes 1 attempt to summon a weak phantom each 25 seconds. That mark is removed when the player no longer has Bad Omen.
- This event's daytime is from 15000 to 22000.
- Due to the internal logic, a player with that tag prevents the summon of The Phantom if it's spawn point is within a 24.5 radius.
- Are no longer sensitive to Smite.
- Reduced drop chance of the clues to Crystallus.
- Consuming a Blindness Suspicious Stew in a high y-level now summons 3 Regular Phantoms with Fire Resistence.
Arrow
- Recipe changed:
- Is now diagonal.
- Accepts iron, quartz and copper in addition to flint.
- Max stack size 99.
- Has lore to differentiate it from the regular arrows.
- Two regular arrows can be combined into 99-stackable arrows by tying them with a string (Its a recipe).
- Chickens drop more Feathers — this is to help the player craft more arrows.
- Brush recipe changed to require 2 extra Feathers.
Balloons
- Added Target Balloon:
- Crafted with Feathers and Phantom Membrane.
- Are not leashed to the player when summoned.
- Float slower than normal Balloons.
- When poped, gives your mount (happy ghast, camel, pig, horse, nautilus, strider) a 25% speed increase that lasts some seconds.
- Some seconds after tha player pop it, new 3 Target Balloons will appear near the player — This allow for faster travel with a mount, as long as the player keeps poping Target Balloons.
- Added Wind Charged Balloon:
- Small chance to be obtained when ballooning a mob to the stratosphere.
- Launches the player who pop it.
- Hostile mobs now have a chance to drop a Enchanted Book with Wind Burst I when killed using a Spear by a player that was launched this way.
Hi-Spears
- Hi-Wooden Spear reworked:
- Now it deals 0 damage that does not aggro mobs.
- Has increased knockback.
- Cannot use Charge Attack, instead, it can block, reducing a low amount of damage (-2 then -20%), but does not reduce the player speed while blocking.
- Drop chance slighly increased.
- Added Hi-Golden Spear:
- Obtained from awakening a normal Golden Spear.
- Killing a mob with a Golden Spear has very small chance of awakening it.
- Is unbreakable.
- Its damage ignore damage reduction from Armor and Protection.
Teleportation Changes
- Changes to Clavis ad Vinculum:
- No longer cause vibrations.
- Do not allow the user to sprint, but the speed multiplier is now 0.85 instead of 0.2.
- Can now be equiped into many mobs head slot, including but not limited to: Cat, Wolf, Horse and Cow.
- Shears can be used to remove it from the mob.
- When using the key in the offhand, after a little while, if the player is not sneaking, up to 10 mobs with a synchronized key will either be teleported to the player, if the distance from that player is 65 blocks or more.
- Any mob with a Clavid ad Vinculum that is less than 65 blocks from that player will glow for a while, even if the key is not synchronized to that player's key. Also, a beam of particles will be emitted at their position.
- After being teleported, the key of those mobs will have the same chance of breaking, just like with the player, but if it happens, they'll glow for a while to indicate what happend.
- When teleporting through a Beacon or Conduit, the game will now attempt to teleport up to 20 entities that has the player as leasher to its position.
Echo Recipes
- Added Echo Recipe for Trial Key and Ominous Trail Key — Hopefully this will allow the player to have more options to replenish their keys.
- Recipe output are now standardizes to the following values: 2, 8, 32, 64.
- Some of the Echo Recipes were removed:
- Feather
- Name Tag
- Pitcher Pod
- Torchflower Seeds
- Open Eyeblossom
- Closed Eyeblossom
Mob Variant: Dreadnought
- Uncommon mob variant that spawns on the Overworld.
- Has a full Copper, full Iron or full Diamond armor, trimmed with Netherite.
- Each piece of armor is enchanted Protection IV.
- Drop chance is 0.27% for each individual piece.
Death & Inventory
- The compass given to the player after death can no longer be used as a compass in recipes. But now, it can be blasted or smelted into a iron bar.
- A funny consequence of this change is that those Compasses can now be trimmed.
Apidae Creeper
- Apidae Creeper's Bee now has a lifetime of 60 seconds. It dies when that timer reaches zero.
- This lifetime only counts down once the Bee has been with no passengers for a little while.
- The timer is removed if the player interact with the Bee in any way (leashing, feeding, etc), in which case, that Bee will no longer despawn naturally.
- Added a function to clean all old Apidae Creeper's Bee:
/function common_res:clean_old_bees_from_honey_creeper.- This function kill all Bees that do not have the new tag, do not have a custom name, and whose base scale is 1.3.
- If your world has been running for a long time in this datapack, you might want to run this in various region, since this only affects the chucnks currently inside the the simulation distance.
- It does not run automatically. Must be run by a operator.
- It only has any use if you want to clean the world, in case there are many of those old Bees. Does not make a single difference if the world was under the effects of an FZero Drops version lower than 21.0a.
- Hopefully, this will make so no Bees acummulate passively after only the Apidae Creeper dies for any reason, which can cause lag.
Other Additions
- Endermans can now drop Purpur Pathway.
- Its a Purpur Staircase that, when used, summons a temporary ascending stairway.
- The final block in the stairway allow the player to jump. Really high.
- 1% drop chance, or 5% in The End.
- Added Iuvenis:
- Crafted with a totem of undying.
- Equippable on all mobs whose baby version can grow.
- Keep that mob as a baby.
- Added Sigil of Pulsus:
- Used to synthesize a Totem of Undying.
- This does not consume Experience, but still is very costly.
Minor Changes
- Fictus name is now orange.
- The following items now allows the player to sprint at full speed while using it:
- Parva Ascensio
- Icarus
- Fictus
- Speed Banner — no longer cause vibrations when used.
- Absorption Banner — no longer cause vibrations when used.
- Parva Ascensio:
- Name is now coloured.
- Give 1 food point when consumed.
- Max Stack Size is now 99.
- Added emergency recipe for Sticks.
- Made using a flint to remove and save the handle of a tool. The rest breaks.
- This consumes 2 Experience Levels and applies Weakness II for a while.
- Smelting and Blasting recipes that output a nugget now output a ingot.
- Also, added equivalent recipes for diamond and netherite.
- Slightly increased the chance of a Improved Spider being invisible.
- Small changes in the mob_var loops. — Hopefully this is now slightly more performance efficient.
- Drowned is now considered a Aquatic mob in addition to being Undead.
- Safe fall distance drastically increased for most Rabbits. They also take less fall damage.
- Shinai no longer aggro mobs.
- Fixed broken Smite enchanted books not droping from zombies. I dont know when this was broken, but anyways. Also slighly tweaked its drop chances.
Avancements
- Yes, there are new Advancements to hint a most of those mechanics, but not all. Here are the mechanics that are NOT hinted at, but that probably should:
- Teleporting a mob using the Clavid ad Vinculum.
- Anything related to:
- Target Balloon.
- Hi-Wooden Spear.
- Hi-Golden Spear.
- Iuvenis.
