Packwiz Modpack Loader

Loads and (auto) updates Packwiz Modpacks.

The mod should work if you install Sinytra's Connector alongside it

Usage

You can now set a minimum permission level for calling the /packwiz command. By default this is set to 4 (Operator)
This may be useful if you who want to give regular players (level 0) or those in creative (level 2) an option to link and update the modpack.

🤖 AI Usage Requests

I request that you do not do the following:

Use the Software or its derivatives to train or improve machine learning (ML) systems (including but not limited to artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and data mining). I also request that the Software be kept out of ML training datasets.
Use AI tools to generate derivative works that reproduce substantial portions of the Software's code or logic while making only minor modifications (such as variable renaming, formatting changes, or comment removal) in order to obscure its origin and avoid crediting the original author. This includes generating code that is functionally equivalent or algorithmically similar to the original while appearing to be independently created.

If you are not sure what constitutes a "substantial portion" of the Software, please submit an issue for clarification.

These are personal requests, not legal requirements, but I'd deeply appreciate your consideration.

Minecraft Modding should not be gatekeeped by how much money you have in your bank account. A lot of modders are young people who can't afford to spend hundreds on claude tokens or expensive computer hardware that allows them to run local AI models.
Most AI mods are derivatives or ports of existing mods. They benefit from well-written mods and turn them into slop.
The mods that are mostly AI generated are a mess. I've worked on a couple already and they are difficult to maintain and plagued with compatibility issues that the developers themselves often don't know how to fix.
AI is destroying the environment, harming those who live near unregulated data centres, taking jobs away from creative people and putting more money into the hands of a couple tech oligarchs.
Anyone who chooses to outsource their thinking to an AI model needs to recognise they aren't learning anything and in a workplace they are replaceable.
