Changes
Galacticube 2.0.4 - Phobos, Deimos & Arrival
Land on Mars' moons, then come home (or land elsewhere) with a proper descent - parachute on Earth, landing module on other worlds. Built for client and dedicated server.
Phobos
- Rocky regolith and crater rock; uneven potato-moon feel
- Impact craters of mixed size and depth
- Stickney - a large landmark crater near spawn
- Very low gravity; vacuum (full space suit)
Deimos
- Darker, smoother dusty surface - distinct from Phobos
- Shallow craters and gentle terrain
- Even lower gravity; vacuum survival same as other moons
Navigation
- Both moons parented to Mars on the galactic map
- Reachable with rocket level 2+ (same band as Mars)
Arrival & rockets
- Earth: real parachute descent + cargo chest (packed rocket) beside you
- Other worlds: piloted landing module ride; rocket placed on touchdown
- Original lander / parachute models and textures (not third-party licensed assets)
- Parachute sits above the player; smooth descent (no bounce)
- Multiplayer: correct pad ownership, disconnect frees stuck rockets, landings spread by player, flight sync for observers
Compatibility
- Minecraft 1.20.1 | Fabric | Fabric API required
- Environment: Client and Server
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
