Changes
Galacticube 2.0.1
Combined post-2.0 update: everything that shipped in interim builds 2.0.1-2.0.8, in one release.
Mars plants and caves
- Martian shrub on plains (surface dust); breaks by hand; silk touch keeps the plant
- Martian fiber - 35% drop from shrubs
- Mars caves - full column replace to bedrock (
mars_stone); shrubs spawn with surface replace
Rockets
- Entity atlases fully opaque; booster/strut UVs fixed (no more floating cutout holes)
- Tier 4 side-booster pivots pulled to the hull
Structures
- Abandoned lunar / Mars bases - snap to real surface + foundation pillars; wider spacing;
beard_thin - Mars Weather Station - tower, instruments, solar panes, shack, loot, mummy spawners
- Manned Mars Weather Station - repaired tower + lit shack with living Space Workers
- Mars Dust Arena - ruined coliseum with Dust Titan + mummy guards
- Mummies no longer spawn under the surface from piece
spawn_overrides/ cage spawners on Mars surface structures
EVA suits and workers
- Specialized suits replace lunar/titanium/nickel/uranium armor (tools kept):
- Cosmic - vacuum + O2
- Thermal - Mercury / extreme heat
- Acid - Venus acid rain
- Cryogenic - Pluto / extreme cold (heater drains battery)
- Flight - jetpack (look up or sneak in mid-air; drains battery)
- Full set required off-world; wrong suit type still kills on hazard planets
- Tier 2+ crafts: upgrade from cosmic piece + rare mats in a full 3x3
- Craft guide images in
docs/craft_guides/and in-game textures - Space Workers - white body + equipped cosmic (tier-1) suit
Ascent and fixes
- Rocket ascent: sky fades to vacuum with stars; home planet underfoot; ~900 blocks / ~18s before galactic map
- Launch crash fix: removed broken jump accessor; flight suit no longer depends on it
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
