Changes
4.0.0
Big update: new Minecraft versions, a reworked menu and a lot of hiding features.
Versions
- Added 26.1, 26.2 and 26.3.
- 1.21.2 and 1.21.3 now share one build made for 1.21.3.
- The mod no longer needs owo-lib.
Server configs
- The web backend is gone. Instead, put a link to a config in the server settings: Pastebin, GitHub Gist or any raw JSON. It loads every time you join the server.
- Prefixes and players from a server config stay separate from yours and aren't saved to disk.
- Export copies your prefixes and this server's players to the clipboard, ready to paste on Pastebin. Import takes a link or the clipboard.
Menu
- The whole menu is redone in vanilla style: player or prefix list on the left, editor on the right.
- Prefix editor: text, optional name, two colors with a palette, chat sound, voice volume and a live preview.
- Chat format is now a simple choice ("[Prefix] Name: text" and so on). For your own format use
{prefix},{name},{message}. Old MiniMessage templates still work. - Player editor: pick a prefix from the list, hiding is three buttons (Visible / Hidden / Immune).
- New "Offline" tab: marked players who aren't online right now and when you last saw them.
- "On all servers" toggle for a player: the prefix and hiding apply everywhere.
- Settings screen with "Tab and chat" and "Hiding" pages.
- Quick menu on G: look at a player and hide them, set immunity or a prefix without opening the full menu.
Hiding
- Hidden players can be shown as invisible, translucent ghosts or small (the model shrinks, the hitbox stays full size).
- If a hidden player hits you or you hit them, they show up for a few seconds. The time is configurable, 0 turns it off.
- Arrows, tridents, pets and sprint particles of invisible players are hidden too.
- Simple Voice Chat and Plasmo Voice: hidden players are muted, and every prefix has its own voice volume.
- The hidden players panel in the tab list now looks like the vanilla tab.
Chat and tab
- A notification when a player with a prefix joins or leaves the server.
- "Highlighted only" chat filter, also on a key you can bind.
- Mentions: sound and a » mark when someone writes your name or one of your words.
- The tab header shows how many players of each prefix are online.
Fixes
- Chat regex now needs only the
nicknameandmessagegroups, extra groups are fine. - Settings changed in different screens no longer overwrite each other.
- Fixed a crash when the tab list opened before the config was loaded.
- Less lag with many players online: radius hiding and prefix lookups are much cheaper now.
- Old configs are migrated automatically.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
