Changes
This update brings a large round of polish and reliability improvements across Gather’s crafting helper, item finder, HUD, settings, and chest/shulker support.
Crafting Helper
- Improved the crafting helper for items stored in chests and shulker boxes. Crafting options should appear more reliably when your materials are in tracked chests, manual chests, or collector shulker boxes.
- Made chest-backed crafting rows clearer. If Gather can see that you have the materials in storage but they are not in your inventory, the row now stays visible but shows that it cannot be crafted yet. The chest icon remains clickable so you can find where the missing items are.
- Added clearer crafting feedback. Successful crafting clicks now feel more responsive, and failed craft attempts use a custom Gather sound instead of a confusing chest or door-like sound.
Item Finder and Chest Search
- Improved the item finder and chest search experience. Gather now includes collector shulker boxes when searching for stored items, keeps finder highlights easier to see, fixes cases where the Find Item arrow pointed the wrong left/right direction, and makes the arrow more accurate and less distracting.
Outlines and Highlights
- Improved chest and block outlines. Outlines should load in a smoother order, prioritize nearby useful blocks better, and behave more consistently with xray/glow settings.
Settings and Controls
- Reworked several settings pages to make Gather easier to configure. Scan settings, controls, outlines, xray/glow, and import/export options are now organized into clearer screens instead of being crowded together.
- Added a better controls setup for Gather shortcuts. You can configure the Gather menu key and manual scan shortcut more clearly, including modifier keys like Shift, Ctrl, and Alt.
HUD
- Improved the HUD layout system. HUD columns line up more cleanly, page switching is more stable, and the layout editor has better snapping, cleaner controls, and more reliable behavior across GUI scales.
Menu and Tooltips
- Improved menu and tooltip polish. Many screens now have cleaner themed tooltips, better spacing, more stable button behavior, and fewer cases where text or tooltips overlap at high GUI scales.
Collector Shulkers
- Improved collector shulker behavior. Collector shulker boxes should keep their settings more reliably, work better when placed, and show their stored items more consistently in Gather’s chest-related features.
General Fixes
- Added many smaller fixes across the Gather menu, crafting overlay, chest tools, tutorials, highlights, and compatibility features to make the mod feel smoother during normal play.

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
