GottaCatchemall 0.29.0 — Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge and Fabric) 0.28.0 — combat stances, allies, orders and a whistle Combat stance per pet, independent from the movement mode (Follow / Stay / Wander). Press H (rebindable) to cycle it on the pet you are looking at: Passive — only defends itself. Guard — defends you. Hunt (default) — defends you and hunts wild hostile mobs. Instinct — the mob's original AI (optional, off by default: set allowInstinctStance in the config). Outside Instinct, your pets never go after villagers, animals, other players or allies on their own. Allies never fight each other. Your pets, the tamed animals you own (from any mod) and you yourself are never attacked or damaged by your own pets. This targets the reports of an iron golem attacking your zombie pet, a dragon attacking your hostile pet or a captured Warden attacking everything around it. Attack order: press Y (or use the whistle) and all your nearby pets attack whatever you are looking at, whatever their stance. Look at nothing to cancel. The order expires after 30 s (orderDurationTicks). Pet Whistle (new item, shapeless recipe: iron ingot + string): right-click = attack order, sneak + right-click = change the stance of the pet you are looking at. The texture is a placeholder. Captured Wardens, piglins and hoglins (mobs driven by the brain system rather than by goals) now obey stances and allies too. All sounds were redone: ball release and recall, capture, escape, breaking free, traps (place / arm / disarm), boss fanfare, fainting, order blip and whistle. Vanilla and Cobblemon capture sounds are no longer used. 0.27.0 — right-click is yours again Right-clicking a captured mob no longer changes its mode or cancels its own interaction, so dragons (Ice and Fire) can be ridden and villagers open their trade screen again. The movement mode now has its own key, G ("Pet command", rebindable). It affects the pet you are looking at (up to 40 blocks) or, if you are not aiming at one, the nearest of your pets within 8 blocks. Config option modeGesture: KEYBIND (default), SNEAK_CLICK (shift + right-click) or PLAIN_CLICK (the old behaviour, which breaks mobs' own right-click interactions). 0.29.0 — lighter on the server The new combat checks were optimised. With 144 mobs fighting in a sealed arena the whole cost of GottaCatchemall stays under 0.1 ms per tick.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
