1.1.2
Compatibility
Changes
1.1.2 - Grave look redesign, void placement fix, and cardinal facing
Grave look redesign (1.1.0)
- The grave is now one of four vanilla-display looks chosen at random when you die:
- Deepslate Grave: an upright deepslate headstone with a dirt mound and your player head.
- Wooden Cross: a rough wooden cross with a cobblestone base.
- Deepslate Tombstone: a full-length sarcophagus with an engraved lid.
- Soulgrave: an overgrown mossy grave lit by a soul lantern.
- Each look can be enabled or disabled from the random pool in the config:
grave_look_deepslate_grave,grave_look_wooden_cross,grave_look_deepslate_tombstone,grave_look_soulgrave. - If every look is disabled, all four are used so graves keep spawning.
Void placement fix (1.1.1)
- A grave that fell into the void no longer floats at the death position. It now rests on a cobblestone platform at the bottom of the world, one block above it and out of void-damage range.
Cardinal facing (1.1.2)
- New config
grave_cardinal_facing_only(default on): graves face only the four cardinal directions (90-degree increments) instead of any of the 360 degrees of your death rotation. - Turn it off with
/graves config grave_cardinal_facing_only falsefor the old behavior.
All new config options work through /graves config, the Mods screen (Mod Menu, optionally Cloth Config), and config/graves.json.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
