Changes
GroundSlammer 1.1.0 - 1.19.2
Features
- Adds dynamic camera FOV changes while falling:
- Field of view smoothly increases based on fall speed and height.
- Enhances sense of motion and vertical momentum during drops.
- Introduces impact-based camera shake on landing:
- Camera shake intensity scales with fall height.
- Subtle shakes for small drops, stronger and more violent impacts for large falls.
- Designed to complement existing ground slam and particle effects.
Notes
- Requires Fabric Loader 0.18.4+ and Fabric API 0.77.0+.
- Also requires Cloth Config API 8.3.134 and Mod Menu 4.1.2 is optional.
- Built for Minecraft 1.19.2.
- Still client-side mod only; does not affect server gameplay mechanics.
- Upon testing, it's been observed that the mod works best with FOV Effects turned off. As the mod currently does NOT silence vanilla FOV effects during falling, a conflict between the listeners appears. If you notice any glitchy behaviour with the way the surrounding terrain is rendered, consider putting FOV effects to 0% in the video settings.
Upcoming / Planned Features
- Optional Quint support for more compatibility.
- Elytra impact effects (still planned, not yet implemented).

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
