Changes
Renamed Egg Hatcher to Hatchable and changed its namespace to hatchable. Existing recognized settings migrate automatically.
Added composable Hatch Mappings:
- Optional
items, hatchersandpredicateselectors control what and where items can hatch. hatcherschecks block IDs or tags directly underneath the dropped item; omitting it allows the rule to hatch anywhere.- Rules can spawn any entity, merge custom entity data, inherit compatible item components, and override chance, age and density settings.
- Later matching values take priority, while
entity_datacompounds merge.
Added default support for temperate, cold and warm chicken variants, with organized egg and variant tags.
Rebuilt the config interface with global Force options, editable mappings, configurable hatch feedback, and categorized debug controls.
Expanded compatibility to Minecraft 1.21 through 26.3.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
