BIG UPDATE
I will eventually backport this update to Forge 1.20.1, however I will no longer maintain Forge 1.20.1 following that.
_Additions/Major Changes _ **Ported to Neoforge 1.21.1 **** Entities **- Reworked the Spotted Striker into a tamable mob, with a new model and texture
- Added the Goph, a small mole-like urk that buries itself during the day
- Added the Gawk, a communal penguin-like urk that lives in colonies atop the ice
- Added the Blurpum, a predatory and ridable poisonous amphibian that comes in three variants, each equipped with their own stats
- Added the Zipperling, an elongated deep sea predator
- Added the Zippermouth, the huge and much more colorful adult counterpart of the Zipperling
- Added the Nib Nib, a small commensal cephalopod that follows larger mobs and attacks players on sight Items
- Added the Luscious Treat, the fourth tier of treat following the hearty treat
- Added Milk Bottles -- Treats of higher tier now require different qualities of milk in their crafting recipes, which is acquired from the tamable mammals of this mod
- Added Zippermouth Scales, which are used to raise a Zipperling into a Zippermouth
- Added Goph, Gawk, and Blurpum eggs
Bugfixes/Logistical/Minor
- Tweaked Dawn Dove and Tearacuda textures to better fit my current artstyle
- Retextured Hearty Treat
- Mobs now have their animation state reset upon death
- Reworked structure spawning such that they now attempt to spawn at the maximum possible Y level of the chunk rather than the lowest
- Mobs no longer sleep when they are set to follow
- The Zappet's lightning bolt now has proper texture and isn't just a solid color
- The Zappet's taming now properly works: previously the lightning strike mechanic didn't matter and one could just feed a seasoned treat to tame it
- Dawn Doves now attack players, as their description says they do
- Fixed Plombo breeding
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
