π Hero of the Village + β v1.1.0
The biggest update so far! Being the Hero of the Village now means more than discounts: villagers open up a fully customizable shop, iron golems swear to protect you, and the mod plays nicely with More Villagers.
β¨ New features
π οΈ In-game Trade Editor (OPs only)
Customize every exclusive trade without touching a single file.
- Open it with the new button in the villager trading screen. It opens straight on that villager's profession.
- Edit the 5 exclusive trades of each profession: item, amount range, emerald cost range, enchantments (including random max-level), potions and suspicious stew effects.
- Several options per trade slot, each with its own probability in %. Saving is blocked until a slot adds up to 100%, and a Fill button completes it for you.
- Copy the item in your hand as a trade option, or pick any survival-obtainable item from a searchable picker.
- Changes are saved per world, and global presets let you reuse your setups across worlds, all managed from inside the game.
- Restore defaults at any time.
- Works on dedicated servers.
π‘οΈ Iron Golem Bodyguards
- While you have Hero of the Village, right-click any iron golem to make it your bodyguard. Right-click again to release it.
- Your bodyguards follow you like a tamed wolf and defend you: they attack whatever hurts you and whatever you attack.
- No limit: bind as many golems as you want, including player-built ones.
- Safe teleport: when they fall behind, golems teleport only to spots where their whole body fits. No more golems stuck in walls or drowning.
- Distinct sounds and particles for binding and releasing.
- When the effect ends, they go back to being normal golems.
π More Villagers compatibility
Exclusive Hero trades for every profession added by More Villagers (by SameDifferent): Oceanographer, Netherian, Woodworker, Enderian, Engineer, Florist, Hunter and Miner.

Optional dependencies
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
