Hit HUD
A lightweight, client-side mod that shows you who you last tangled with in combat ā no more losing track of who you were just fighting mid-chaos.
What it does
Whenever you hit another player, or another player hits you, a clean HUD slides in at the top of your screen showing:
- Their username
- A 20-second countdown so you always know how "fresh" that fight is
Get hit or land a hit again before the timer runs out? The HUD instantly resets with the new name and a fresh 20 seconds ā perfect for PvP, duels, and keeping track of skirmishes in busy fights.
Features
- šÆ Triggers both ways ā shows up whether you hit someone or they hit you
- š§ Players only ā mobs and non-player entities never trigger it
- ā±ļø Live countdown ā updates every frame, not just once a second
- ⨠Smooth animations ā slides down and fades in on appear, fades and drifts up on exit
- šŖ¶ Fully client-side ā safe to use on any server, no server-side install needed, won't get you kicked for "unknown mod"
- ā” Zero configuration ā install and go
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Fabric Loader 0.18.1+
- Fabric API 0.141.4+1.21.11 (or newer)

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
