The Gaunt (new apex hunter of The Dark)
Replaces the Maze Stalker as the entity that hunts you during The Dark. Relentless pursuit that never freezes or vanishes. It is bound to one player and respawns 20-35s after being killed. Breaks glass, glass panes, doors, trapdoors, boats, and minecarts. Climbs walls like a spider, leaps 2-block obstacles, and swims. Advanced pathfinding: door opening, water traversal, and a re-locking chase goal.
You should stay indoors :)
Lore Structures
Five procedural sites: Small Grave, The Last Camp, Offerings, The Rope, and Down Here. Each holds a readable note that continues the story's themes. The Hoard Vault is a very rare underground vault with some OP loot. About as rare as Shivaxi Statue in RLCraft except its configurable.
Atmosphere Sanity vignette: radial vignette that tightens as Willpower drops, plus a pulsing red vignette during The Dark. WP-tier ambient soundscape: looping drone that intensifies from Uneasy to Broken. Reactive world dimming: fog darkens and closes in as Willpower falls. Changes Nether Maze: Soul Eater now always hunts at a slower speed, with a longer timer (300s) and a shorter attack range (1.5).
New config options: Nether Maze tuning and the lore structure toggle, rarity, site chance, and vault chance. Nether Maze: the Overworld stalker no longer appears in the Nether.
Nether Maze: 0 WP now pulls you into the maze instantly. Fixes Sleeping during The Dark no longer restores Willpower, and sleep is explicitly denied. Audio: gameplay sounds now stay audible during The Dark (only music and ambience are silenced), and music returns within 5-15s after suppression ends. Ending advancements were in the wrong folder and never fired. They are now loaded. Shadow Maze cleanup now properly restores terrain from every call path. Overworld audit: fixed Blood Moon effects in other dimensions, failed maze escapes granting rewards, the watcher respawn loop, the Peaceful WP floor, event timer overshoot, and the Luck II timer, and added dimension checks for doppelgangers and phantoms

Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
