Hostility Inverted v1.0.1 Changelog
-
Added full light inversion system:
- Day/bright skylight applies Blindness.
- Night/true darkness applies Night Vision.
- Smoothed transitions + anti-flicker.
-
Added sunlight burning for players (undead-style), with instant stop under cover.
-
Added helmet protection for sunlight burn using only Diamond and Netherite helmets (with durability loss).
-
Added inverted bed sleep: sleep only during day, then wake into night after sleep animation.
-
Added daytime passive spawn boost (hostile-like daytime pressure from inverted passives).
-
Improved inverted passive mob combat:
- Dynamic damage scaling per mob stats/type.
- Fairer villager chase speed tuning.
-
Changed boss exceptions: Warden, Wither, and Ender Dragon keep vanilla hostility.
-
Added provocation rule: hitting an inverted hostile mob makes that mob return to vanilla hostile behavior.
-
Fixed hostile-passive inversion edge cases (creeper/skeleton/spider behavior attempts, targeting leaks, warden darkness side effects).
-
Fixed villager fear compatibility so vanilla iron golem spawning/iron farms keep working.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
