HouseDrop
Craft a box, right-click it for a blueprint, and watch a house fall out of the sky and build itself. Two craftable boxes print randomized house blueprints; using a blueprint clears the site, lays a foundation, and rains the house down as falling blocks - layer by layer - until it is standing, furnished, and stocked. Houses always land facing the player.
The houses
| Tier | House | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Cozy Cabin | 7x6 spruce and oak, gabled roof |
| Starter | Trapper's Hut | 5x5, compact, flat roof |
| Starter | Birch Bungalow | 7x8, the roomy one |
| Starter | Dirt-Cheap Special | 5x5 with walls of literal dirt - a joke that is also a house |
| Mansion | Stonebrook Manor | 13x11 two-story stone and dark oak |
| Mansion | Copper Chateau | 13x9 with a cut-copper roof |
| Mansion | Quartz Villa | 11x9, gold-trimmed, rooftop patio |
Mansions have two floors, an interior staircase, a kitchen, bookshelves, and two bedrooms. Every house includes beds, a crafting table, lighting, and a stocked chest.
How it works
Craft a box (the Starter Homes Box for day-one materials, or the Mansion Box for a real investment), place it, and right-click for a random blueprint - unlimited prints. Then right-click the ground where you want the front door: the site is cleared, a foundation goes in, and the house falls from the sky over a few seconds. Anyone caught inside the walls is teleported safely to the doorstep.
Land-claim safe
HouseDrop rewrites a large area, so it asks before it builds. Every drop dry-runs its full build envelope through normal Bukkit block events, so WorldGuard, GriefPrevention, Towny, CoreProtect and friends can veto it. If any part of the site is protected, the drop is refused before a single block changes - the player keeps their blueprint and gets told why. No half-built houses, no bulldozed spawns.
Configurable
config.yml is fully commented and live-reloadable with /hd reload: disable either recipe or any individual house, set print and drop cooldowns and an hourly quota per player, toggle site clearing, foundations, chest loot and player rescue, and tune drop speed and spawn height.
Compatibility
Requires Paper 1.21.4+ and Java 21, with no dependencies.
