Hungry Wasteland

This datapack adds a new, continously growing biome to the center of the overworld called The Wasteland. This datapack is a proof of a concept to see if changing the world on a large scale is possible in vanilla minecraft without crippling the game's performance.

Gameplay

The Wasteland will continue to expand even when you're not around. Building in certain biomes and with certain blocks can help protect you and your base from its path of destruction. You can expect to find occasional loot caches as well as valuable raw resources while exploring The Wasteland. During rain and thunderstorms, poisonous debris will rain from the sky.
