Zombies Helper for Beginners + Tracker

Important: For the most accurate experience (tracking kills, rounds, map detection, and game events), your Hypixel language should be set to English. You can change it in-game with /lang or through /profile.

Background

I got tired of queueing into Hypixel Zombies and ending up with teammates who clearly had no idea what they were doing. I was also constantly alt-tabbing just to remember the Alien Arcadium strategy, so I decided to build something that solved both problems.

Hypixel Zombies Helper + Tracker is an all-in-one companion for Hypixel Zombies. It helps you evaluate your teammates before the game starts, track your own performance during every session, view detailed player statistics instantly, and follow built-in strategy guides without ever leaving Minecraft.

With a completely rebuilt interface, a native HUD editor, packet-based game tracking, and full localization support, version 5.0 is the biggest update the mod has ever received.

Setup

You'll need a Hypixel API key for player statistics.

1. Go to the Hypixel Developer Portal and create a personal API key.
2. Press Z to open the configuration menu.
3. Paste your API key into the Hypixel API Key field and click Apply.

Custom Strategies

You can create your own strategy guides.

1. Create a JSON strategy file.
2. Place it inside the folder for the corresponding map under:

.minecraft/config/zombieshelper/

1. Select it from the Strategies section inside the configuration menu.

Controls

The mod no longer uses chat commands. Everything can be accessed directly in-game through keybinds.

Key	Action
Z	Open the configuration menu.
X	Open the Tracker for the player you're currently looking at.

Both keybinds can be changed at any time from Minecraft's Controls menu.

FAQ

Is this mod allowed on Hypixel?

Yes. The mod is entirely client-side. It only reads public information from the scoreboard and the official Hypixel API without modifying gameplay or sending custom gameplay packets.

How is Win Chance calculated?

Win Chance combines each teammate's Best Round and total Wins to estimate the probability of successfully completing the match. Nicked players receive a neutral value to keep estimates fair.

Why is someone marked as "(Nicked)"?

The mod checks multiple APIs before deciding a player is nicked. If every lookup confirms the username doesn't exist, the player is marked as (Nicked). Network failures are handled separately to avoid false positives.

Why are a player's stats all zero?

This usually means the player has never played Zombies, is nicked, or the API request failed. The mod automatically retries failed requests before giving up.

I received an API Error (403).

A 403 means your Hypixel API key has expired or is invalid. Press Z to open the configuration menu, enter a new API key, and click Apply.

The Strategy Guide isn't showing.

Make sure:

1. The Strategy Guide HUD is enabled.
2. A valid strategy is selected.
3. You're playing on a supported map.
4. The match has started.

If not, you can force appear in the GUI (Z Key).

Can I use this on other servers?

It depends. If the server has the same chat messages and scoreboard than Hypixel's Zombies minigame, then yes.

Does it support multiple languages?

Yes. The interface is fully localized and supports multiple languages. However, for the most reliable game detection and tracking, it's still recommended to keep your Hypixel language set to English.
