ImageFrame v2.0 - Universal HD & GIF Update
Major release introducing Universal Mod architecture, native HD client rendering, and instant HD GIF synchronization!
Features & Improvements
- Universal Mod Architecture: Single JAR for both Server and Client! Functions completely server-side for Vanilla players while delivering full HD features when installed on the client.
- Native High-Definition (HD) Renderer: Crisp HD image maps rendered thread-safely on the client render thread.
- Instant HD GIF Synchronization: Multi-frame HD textures are pre-cached in memory and synchronized with zero network lag or screen flickering.
- ImmediatelyFast Compatibility: Automatic detection and compatibility adjustment for ImmediatelyFast (
map_atlas_generation: false). - Inventory Preview Tooltips: Hover preview tooltips for single maps, map grids, and paintings directly inside inventory screens.
- Upstream Fixes: Resolved
/imageframe refreshcommand issues for local images and maps with missing URLs.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
