Minecraft But It's Impossible to Die
A survival challenge: try to die in a normal world. You probably can't.
The pack gives everyone a set of permanent buffs and turns off every way the game normally kills you. It loads on its own the moment the world starts, no commands needed.
What it does
Status effects (applied to all players, refreshed every tick):
- Resistance 255
- Fire Resistance
- Strength 255
- Saturation
- Regeneration 255
Game mechanics it disables through gamerules:
- Fall damage
- Drowning
- Fire and lava damage
- Freezing (powder snow)
- Mob griefing (creepers won't blow up your builds)
The older packs leave out gamerules your version doesn't have yet (freezing was added in 1.17, the rest in 1.15). On 1.13–1.14, only the effects apply, so drowning can still get you there.
Installation
- Download the zip that matches your version.
- Drop it into the world's
datapacksfolder (.minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacks/). - Load the world, or run
/reloadif it's already open.
To turn it off, delete the datapack from your world datapacks folder and run /reload.
