0.1.0-beta.5.5
Compatibility
Changes
HI :D
5.5 is out, well, kinda
- spell system reworked
- you can now craft your own spells
- mana costs reworked
- Codex now shows ritual's mana costs and what items can be replaced by others
- i forgot what else i did
this patch's biggest addition is the new spell system. Craft a magic lectern and use the fluxogram, it's not hard to understand: [form] |--> [event] |---> [action] when i made this i tried to give players as much freedom as possible. i wanted something simple enough for a kid to understand yet complex enough for adults to have fun. You can fully customize what happens when your spell hits an entity, a block, both, maybe none. I stg i tried to keep it as balanced as possible. if you have no clue wha to do just try this:

ritual instability also got some little touches. now you can only attempt a ritual if you have 25% of needed mana, iirc it's like 60%+ chance of failure tho. but hey, gamble :D
- meteor got buffed
for version 6.0
Spoiler
i'll be finally working on audio. no more annoying villager and skeleton sounds i promise. MAYBE remove/rework/add new rituals. As for spells, it's pretty much done for now. Any suggestions are welcome, the feedback link is somewhere at main page <3
xoxo shia
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
